I use the following "Lazy Dial" trick from the nerdvittles.com site for quick dial of numbers I usually call:

exten => 6252,1,playback(pls-wait-connect-call)
exten => 6252,2,Dial(SIP/0300700xxxx@Brain,120,m) ;khi1
exten => 6252,3,Hangup

This used to work fine before with Trixbox... I'd dial 544 from one of my extensions, would hear the lady say "Please Wait While I connect your call"... followed by either music (if I have set 120,m) or the dial tone (if I set 120,r) untill the called party picks up.

Now, With Elastix 0.8.1. I get the Plz Wait While I connect message, folloed by music or ring for a split second, and then total silence, untill the other end picks up the phone.

However, if I dial the full number, the standard ring is played until the phone is picked up.

This is the log using the Speed dial :

-- Executing [6252@from-internal:1] Playback("SIP/100-092ef698", "pls-wait-connect-call"«») in new stack
-- <SIP/100-092ef698> Playing 'pls-wait-connect-call' (language 'en')
-- Executing [6252@from-internal:4] Dial("SIP/100-092ef698", "SIP/0300700xxxx@Brain|120|m"«») in new stack

-- SIP/Brain-09309bd8 is making progress passing it to SIP/100-092ee118
-- SIP/Brain-09309bd8 is ringing
[/size]
and the log when I dial the full number:

-- Executing [s@macro-outbound-callerid:18] GotoIf("SIP/100-092f6240", "1?report"«») in new stack
-- Goto (macro-outbound-callerid,s,22)

> fixlocalprefix: Using pattern 0092|0+X.
== fixlocalprefix: Dialpattern 0092|0+X. matched. 0092300700xxxx -> 0300700xxxx

-- Executing [s@macro-dialout-trunk:20] Dial("SIP/100-092f6240", "SIP/Brain/0300700xxxx|300|Tr"«») in new stack

-- SIP/Brain-092f77c0 is ringing

The same behaviour is repeated for any of the trunks I've setup.

Post edited by: RizSher, at: 2007/06/09 22:35
