I have been trying to run genzaptelconf in order to detect a Zapmicro TDM400 but no luck what so ever. When I execute genzaptelconf, it does not appear to do anything, just goes to the next prompt.

    Help!!!!!!!!!!!1

Also, the detect new hardware does not see the card in the system.

In the bios, disable everything you can.
parallel and serial port for example.
Got the same issue and disabling both fix it.
I didn't try to understand why.

    Run genzaptelconf -d -v

Also, please see if you can see your card in the "dmesg" output.
