Sadly, in a fresh installed elastix 1.5.2-2, whan adding an extenson i cannot get:
Fax Handling

What am i missing? should i have to enable something somewhere?

Re:no Fax Handling in 1.5.2-2

I must correct: the system is not *freshly* installed, it was fully updated with yum as regards to packages, and by freepbx panel, all the modules where updated massively.
Now, after a few days, I need to configure fax and I realize (sadly) fax configuration box is *desaparecido* by iax2 and sip extension configuration.
I wonder if it is necessary to reinstall everithing to get it back.
Luckly, this is not a production system.

The fax handling is configured in the Inbound routes tab, not in the Extensions tab.
You can also install NVFaxdetect for improved fax detection. Look in the forums, I put a small script somewhere.

Re:no Fax Handling in 1.5.2-2

I always wonder why this box was into extension and into inbound route :)
it is a duplicate
So, having it into *inbound routes* only, is an enhancement; the only thing I suggest is to update wiki.
In the wiki nothing is said about inbound route; instead, after creating iax2 extension, you should configure it.
If Mazurek does not update it, I or someone other could help.

one question, after your update, when you click on an existant extension, do you get the info that it should have, or all the info is in blank? If so, what warnings, do you have on unembedded freepbx?
