    Hello I'm having problem with audio using remote extensions. I have dinamic IP with my ISP , when I set the File: sip_general_custom.conf with current IP work perfect the remote extensions, but when the ISP change the IP address the problem start, I tried to configurate several times changin diferents parameteres, I have using DDNS too and didnt work
    configurations

    File: sip_general_custom.conf

    port=5060 ; Port to bind to
    bindaddr=0.0.0.0 ; Address to bind to
    maxexpirey=60 ; Max length of incoming registration we allow
    defaultexpirey=180 ; Default length of incoming/outoing registration
    dtmfmode=rfc2833
    nat=yes
    ;externip=elastixmia.dyndns.org:5060
    externip=65.8.182.208:5060
    ;externhost=elastixmia.dyndns.org
    externrefresh=5
    localnet=192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0
    useragent=Elastix

    using that conf. works fine remote extensions if the ip add do no change but if I will add in sip_nat.com this conf the remote extensions do not work.

    File: sip_nat.conf
    externhost=elastixmia.dyndns.org
    localnet=192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0
    externrefresh=5

    the ports in the router are open or forwaded UDP 5000-350000 , TCP 5004-5082

    Please if sombody know how to solve that problem.
    thanks

    Hi and welcome to our Elastix Forum.

    At first, why put 2 same parameters in differents files?

    externip, externhost ...etc are included in the general section from the SIP configuration.

    If you put a value in externip then into sip_general_custom.conf, this value could be rewriten with the value into the sip_nat.conf.

    So please, make the choise.

    ;externip=elastixmia.dyndns.org:5060 is wrong. It's not an IP address.

    Check your DNS parameters. You must be able to ping a domain.

    And second, in every remote extension, you must put nat=yes.
    By default, every extension are set with nat=no.

    Regards
