no audio both way when using extension.

Hello again,

no I have another problem, when i'm using extension (from within my network or external network) it registered fine but no sound/no audio...

rtp port 10000-20000 are open.

But when I use normal phone and call in, it work fine, can hear both way....

Question should open both udp and tcp for 10000-20000? Currently only open udp. Any suggestion?

It only uses UDP for RTP packets. Have you opened the firewall or done a full port forward for the ports?

Thanks for replying.

Yes, I open UDP/TCP 1025-65535 and forward to my elastix box, and in rtp.conf I match the start and end to the same ports.--- still no audio.

I even tried to put my elastix in DMZ zone just to test it, still no audio.

Anymore suggestion anyone?

did you fix the problem? could you tell us how....

Look i could tell you maybe is a nat problem that you have

put in each extension nat=yes

and can you check in your router if there is open UDP 10,000 to 20,000 that are rtp port by default of asterisk

try to check if you have open the 5060 port too

let us to know if you fix the problem. thanks
