    I don't think so....

I'm Elastix 1.0.4 and I have updated to FreePBX 2.4 and Extensions STOP Working FOREVER!!!

I have restored a previous BACKUP and NOTHING WORKS.

    I don't sugest that update.

    Good luck.
    Alexis.

Make sure that you are linking the conf files from the actual Free PBX Folder like this.

    cd /etc/asterisk/

    mv sip.conf sip.old
    mv iax.conf iax.old
    mv features.conf features.old
    mv extensions.conf extensions.old

    and then do this.

    ln -s /var/www/html/admin/modules/core/etc/sip.conf sip.conf

    ln -s /var/www/html/admin/modules/core/etc/iax.conf iax.conf

    ln -s /var/www/html/admin/modules/core/etc/features.conf features.conf

    ln -s /var/www/html/admin/modules/core/etc/extensions.conf extensions.conf

    chown -R asterisk:asterisk *

    asterisk -vvvvr

    sip reload
    reload

And test calls see if they work.<br><br>Post edited by: nothings_found, at: 2008/03/05 14:09

Oh just too let you I am running FreePBX 2.4.X works just great.

I love Elastix just works. Except when asterisk does not complete a reload command for some reason :(

Is true. For some reason freepbx reload fails randomly. Why?

I dont recommend you to update if you are using a2billing.

FreePBX + a2billing implementation is different on 2.4 than 2.3

I found that out. Do you have some suggestions if you have made this mistake? Have you gotten a2billing working properly with FreePBX 2.4? One thing that I saw is that while the custom apps module is installed, it has disappeared from the menu options. What do you do?

After hours and hours of work, I completely second the prior statement. If you use A2Billing DO NOT upgrade to FreePBX 2.4. This is a major rework of freepbx and the conf files have changed as well as the way certain things work. Custom Apps module, while there, does not work, it has disappeared from the menus.

Now, does anyone know how to back out of 2.4 and go back to 2.3?????????????
