    Good Day Everyone:
    I have a large block of DID's which I am in the process of assigning individual "private fax #'s). I have follows the ELASTIX WITHOUT TEARS book on the setup; BUT, it appears that all incoming faxes from the individual DID's are going to one email address / extension.

    The extensions are as follows:

    7100
    7200
    7300
    7400
    etc....

    Each extension has it's own unique DID. The problem that is happening is that regardless of the DID that the fax comes through, it is routed to 7100 as a default extension for faxes.

    Any ideas on how to address this?

    Thanks;

    Mike

    Create Virtual Faxes and enter the email there.

    first I want to make sure you have the inbound routes setup correctly, because it seems like you have everything going to the first extension.

    when I was on the forums looking for answers I didn't get much help because what I was trying to do was different.
