    Hello everybody:

does anyone know why does the new elastix 2.0.3 does not
    install dahdi-channels.conf file?

Was it replace with other file?

It is strange because #include dahdi-channels.conf
header statements is still included in chan_dahdi.conf file.

    Regards,

    MFM

    hello everybody:

I have already solved my echo problem and my missing files problem too the same way.

The hardware auto detection on distro 2.0.3 is not working, so that was the reason why dahdi-channels.conf file and system.conf were missing.

Of course without that files there was no echo software canceller active.

    1. using putty ingrese to log as root in linux
    2. execute script dahdi_genconf (missing files created).
    3. execute script dahdi_cfg -vvv
    4. restart dahdi using: /etc/init.d/dahdi restart
    5. stop asterisk with: amportal stop.
    6. fxotune -i 4 to calibrate fxo channels
    7. make sure to write line: /usr/sbin/ fxotune-s , in path: /etc/rc.local (it was already there).
    8. amportal start.
    9. asterisk -rx dahdi show channels

that's all folks, no echo, no missing files.

remember that as openvox a800 is not an official dahdi card sometimes rare things happens... not for openvox error maybe to bad compilation of a800 module etc

I followed your steps, exactly. This is a fresh 2.0.3 install with a TDM410..

Your missing one vital step, probably needed between step 3 and 4:
    cd /etc/asterisk; cp chan_dahdi.conf.elastixsave chan_dahdi.conf

Once I did that, it loaded and parsed the files properly, and the channels
    appeared as advertised.
