New issue,

we have a company moving in next door, all of us are owned by the same people more or less, they need a phone system, we planned originally to have them all on my systems, but then they decided they wanted to have seperate billing for each company.

I then though of how we could bill them while still using our servers.

i was told they cant be billed by extension usage on the providers back end, they did say they could track them via 800 numbers they use for each client.

So that gave me the thought, is it possible to force specific extensions out through a specific trunk / outbound route?

grr I don't know why my post didn't ...post...

I said a sec a go, was ...

are you routing vie freepbx or a2billing?

freepbx-
either use a different custom-context to route to a specified trunk
or prefix to an out-route (9 or 8 or whatever doesn't interfere with dial plan) to get out.

a2billing
-probably prefixed dialing again...

hope this one goes through....
