Hello,

I have a problem with our server at work. None of our SIP phones are able to register.
If I look at the CLI I can't see the phones attempting to regsiter. Also if I do a sip show peers I get no such command. There isn't any SIP commands available from the Asterisk CLI.
Not sure if this is something basic, I am not that experienced with Asterisk.
I tried to look through some logs but couldn't see anything that really helped.
SIP is not being restricted on our Local LAN. This problem seemed to happen all of a sudden.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Ron.

A few things:

1.) Reboot your server or run "amportal restart" from the command line to restart asterisk.
2.) Make sure that your extensions are not set as "nat=yes". Our Cisco phones do not work with nat=yes and that is the default.
3.) Make sure that you have pressed the orange/red "Apply changes" bar in the browser and reloaded asterisk.
