Leaving one voicemail message into many mailboxes

I have an IVR going like this:

  1. If you want to leave a message to Lyne, press #1
If you want to leave a message to Gaston, press #2
If the message is for both, press #3

My problem is with #3, how can I do that: leaving the same message into two mailboxes ? I know that the routine Voicemail() seems to allow that, but how can I do that from the interface (either Elastix ou FreePbx) ?

What I tried is to branch to a voicemail blast, but it doesn't do what I am expecting.

By the way, there is the following message that could mean something to someone more experienced:
Code:
[Sep 27 15:30:21] VERBOSE[21650] logger.c: -- Executing [vmblast@app-vmblast:2] ExecIf("SIP/3083-08653b40", "1|Background|custom/NoAnswer3083_r2") in new stack
[Sep 27 15:30:21] VERBOSE[21650] logger.c: -- <SIP/3083-08653b40> Playing 'custom/NoAnswer3083_r2' (language 'fr')
[Sep 27 15:30:23] WARNING[21650] pbx.c: Invalid extension '#', but no rule 'i' in context 'app-vmblast'
Code:
Thanks for the help,

Gaston

If you send the voicemails to email accounts as I understand because you refer as mailbox. You may create an email alias, that would email the voicemail to two or more mail accounts,.

Oups...

It's my mistake.

I refer to leaving the message into 2 "voice boxes".

Sorry,

Re:Leaving one voicemail message into many mailbox

I would do the following:
1. Download and install on the freepbx module called "custom-context"
2. Create an empty context called myvoicemail
3. Create a custom context on /etc/asterisk/extensions_custom.conf called myvoicemail-custom
4. Under myvoicemail-custom, define the context using the Voicemail application to leave the message into both boxes
5. From the shell execute:
asterisk -rx "reload"
6. Go to your IVR, and set option #3 (for example), and choose the custom-context option, and select the one called myvoicemail

Re:Leaving one voicemail message into many mailbox

Thanks for the recommandation.

Just to make sure that there is no confusion, you mentioned:

myvoicemail-custom and and myvoicemail

Are you referring to the samething ?

Also, should "voicemail blasting" do the trick ?

Re:Leaving one voicemail message into many mailbox

Ok. I deleted my VM Blast group and recreated it (without the "&" I had used the first time into the group name), and now everything is working as expected.

Thanks to those who answered this topic.
