    OK, so I performed a yum check-update this evening, and found this:

    Code:
    kernel.x86_64       2.6.18-194.26.1.el5     updates
    kernel-devel.x86_64       2.6.18-194.26.1.el5     updates
    kernel-headers.x86_64     2.6.18-194.26.1.el5     updates
    If I am not mistaken, upgrading these packages will break wanrouter and DAHDi.

    Or am I missing something?

    You are right. That is why in yum repos there is an exclude on the kernel. I guess yum check update doesn't read that.

    Nope, that's not it. Yum quite helpfully offers to update my kernel, too.
    Code:

     kernel-devel        x86_64      2.6.18-194.26.1.el5         updates      5.4 M

    Is this ok [y/N]:
    And a relevant snippet from /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo:
    Code:
    [updates]
    name=CentOS-$releasever - Updates
    mirrorlist=http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=$releasever&arch=$basearch&repo=updates
    #baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/$releasever/updates/$basearch/
    gpgcheck=1
    gpgkey=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-5
    exclude=kernel*
    exclude=redhat-logos
    Hmm.... that's odd. Looks like the kernel shouldn't be included in the updates, but it is....

    I think it because of two lines
    exclude=kernel*
    exclude=redhat-logos

    exclude=kernel* redhat-logos - solves a problem for me.

    This bug only affects those unlucky enough to download the "new and improved" Elastix 2.0.3 iso, ehich was obviously rushed out for ElastixWorld or ironically tried to yum update during ElastixWorld, at was fixed yesterday, what's Spanish for "egg on my face"

    I will believe it when I see it. I am keeping my 2.0.2 iso's safe!
    I could translate it, but since "egg" has a very different connotation in Latin culture, my translation may not convey what you intend. :lol:

    The tea-bag party might not appreciate it either.
