Hello all,

Before going through a search wondering if iLBC is installed by default on Elastix 1.4? I will do the disallow=all and allow=ilbc in sip_custom.conf when I get the chance to test it. Howver, if it's not installed what is the easiest way of going about it?

Thanks,

I don't know where, but I think that there's a solution into this forum.
Maybe it's Bob that did make a procedure to intall this codec.

Run: asterisk -r
core show translation recalc 10

Make sure that it shows up in there. If its not in there, its not installed ;)

Edit: Dont put the disallow / allow in the sip_custom.conf
Put it in each trunks details, and each Ext's details also.

This allows you flexibility in terms of some trunks using different codecs etc, its much nicer ;)
