Interactive Voice Response (IVR), with access a DB

    Gentlemen good day.

    I speak to you again, this time in order to request certain information.

    Is posible that exist an application of IVR which allows me the option of audio/text and having a connection with a data base?.

    For example, banks and credit card companies use IVR systems so that their customers can receive up-to-date account information instantly and easily without having to speak directly to a person. IVR technology is also used to gather information, as in the case of telephone surveys in which the user is prompted to answer questions by pushing the numbers on a touch-tone telephone.

    I hope that someone from this forum that know of any application that installed in a elastix (asterisk) can perform this type of work.

    I remain very attentive to their responses.

    You would need to create and agi script and link it as custom app in the ivr.
