Hi

I have an Elastix PBX onsite with PRI singlespan Digium Card. PBX services 300 users all with DDI and CLi. The number range supplied by the telco all forward to each user's unique internal(extension) number. We use this internal number for security/intercom purposes. Due to load balancing, we are installing a second PBX with its own separate PRI line for additional users.
How can I connect both PBX together so that the intercom range dials over both PBXs.
The gatehouse on PBX1 can i.e. dial ext2001 on same PBX to say for instance that there is someone at the gate who wants to come in. Can I create for arguments sake ext 2400 on PBX2 so that guardhouse on PBX1 one can contact ext 2400 also?
These two PBXs are on the same LAN.
Will I use IAX trunks or what? How would I establish this connection. This might seem like a silly question but Ive never used Asterisk interconnect features before

Help is much appreciated
