I have tried to install the current 1.6 32 bit download on two different servers; a Dell poweredge 650 and a sun Fire 4200. Both of these have dual gigabit ethernet interfaces.

The install runs fine when the system boots after installation it only activates eth0 which successfully picks up an address by dhcp but the login screen does not show the machines ip address and pointing a web browser at the ip address shows that nothing is listening to the http port.

The http service is not running - if I start it, it then serves the standard centos http welcome page.

I have installed ubuntu on both of these servers and its not a hardware problem as both network interfaces activate successfully.

Has anyone else experineced this problem? If so how did you solve it.

I need to get this fixed quickly and would prefer to use Elastix but if there is no solution then I'll have to install Asterisk and FreePBX ontop of Ubuntu.

    Thanks in advance

The web interface doesn't run on HTTP, but HTTPS though?

I've installed previously on a dual-NIC machine just fine. When you install, you're not "unticking" things are you?

    Hi,

Both installs were done without unselecting anything.

When the system rebooted afer installation with both servers the login screen did not state the machines IP address to connect to. Also on both occasions only eth0 was configured.

I tried connecting to both servers using http and https and no pages were served.

Was it the current 1.6 iso that you used or an earlier version.

    Thanks in advance
