Hi,

Here's my setup:

- Elastix 2.0
- Fax Printer - configured as SIP extension via ATA
- Dedicated DID for receiving FAX

I have tested outgoing fax using the fax printer, and it's working fine.
Now, I'm having problem with incoming fax.
When I call the DID for fax, i hear the fax tone. And as I observe in the CLI it is actually receiving the fax.
I see the ReceiveFax function temporarily saving the fax in /var/spool/asterisk/fax. But after this it goes Auto fallthrough, channel 'DAHDI/X-X' status is UNKNOWN and then it fails to print the fax in the fax printer. However, I can receive the fax in the designated email address.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Thank you in advance!

Why don't you just have the inbound route go directly to the ATA connected to the fax printer?
Skip the email config and just use freepbx for it not hylafax.

I have a few installs where this works. If you need more help or need more clarification just ask.
