    Hi Folks,

Im new to elastix and having problems with incoming calls.

I have a new installation of elastix and have configure 2 extensions.
    - extension to extension calling is fine

I have a test number from my telco wherein i have successfully mapped in my elastix to ring to 1 extension.

However when I pick up the Polycom IP 301 handset the caller still hears rings and the session is not established. But on my IP301 phone display says I have answered the call.

    Thanks for your help

    Cheers!

Can you tell me what you did to fix the problem? I have 2 VOIP Providers and 1 POTS Provider, I can receive calls from my POTS Provider but can not receive calls from both my VOIP Providers, calling out with all 3 Providers is not an issue.....HELP!!! Please?

    Hi KiwiSA.

Do you have DID or real world numbers pointed to your VOIP carriers?

Another thing you should check is how are you receiving your Inbound routes.
    - If you are expecting a 10 digit number make sure your VOIP is sending you the whole 10 digit numbers.

Check your asterisk CLI to see where it fails. and if possible paste them here.

If you dont see anything on the CLI possible is your VOIP providers are not sending you the calls. ( another HINT here is the recording you here when you call the numbers)

    Cheers
