Inbound calls intermittently dropped

Hi! I'm having two issues with my new Elastix 2 setup. I'm finding that about half of the time that my inbound calls are dropped. I'm new to Elastix but have had a very basic Trixbox install up and running for about a year. I've compared all the relevent asterisk config files from both systems and can't find out why the Trixbox config works and the new Elastix system does not. Another issue is that my default extension defined on my inbound call route only goes straight to vm - it doesn't ring. It's from a Cisco ATA186. The odd thing is that calling that same extension using a softphone on my laptop works fine - it rings as expected. Any help would be appreciated.
