inbound call pop up with sugarcrm

    Hi

    Can someone direct me to a how to: where, your incoming call matches that of your contacts in sugarcrm and all the details of this person comes up via sugarcrm?

    I have been working on this also.
    I believe the inbound screen pop on this requires the pro version.
    The outdial from Sugar does work though.

    I don't know
    If you log into Sugar as admin, then go to the Admin at the top right

    In the Asterisk RD section and click

    Enable Asterisk / VoiceRD Pro Version Displays a SugarPro popup features

    If you enable this then try to dial from a contact it will popup a message

    You might try updating to the newer version if you haven't. The one that comes with Elastix is at least 2 versions old. If you are using Aastra phones there is some integration to sugars database there too.

    Vtiger is a little more open source than sugar and is suposed to have astrisk integration also. There outlook connector is free. The version from Elastix is also old. There is a beta version that looks very nice coming.

    Sugar may be a little more refined but vtiger seems under some light use to be fine for us. The beta version looks very promising and customizable.

    It has been a lot since this post has been updated, but I' m looking forward this also, I've investigated and it seems the module PBX manager comes in the 5.1.0 version of VTiger, I'm looking to upgrade it and see what happens.

    When I logged in the queue and I get a call does not get the pop-up, any ideas?

    If you're willing to consider a third party CTI solution for Elastix>SugarCRM integration, I would recommend checking out Callinize. It has a call pop up feature that displays the caller's info like phone number, time of call as well as call duration. If the caller matches a record in Sugar then it will display all relevant info about the caller and allow you to make notes and task creation for follow up.
