    Hello all !

    I would like to do the following : a user (with x-lite) should be able to connect to a sip extension of my asterisk box that is on a machine in my private network (behind an ADSL router). What do I have to do in order to make this possible ?

    I have a dynamic IP account at no-ip.org, so I know the IP of router.

    I did set my asterisk box as the DMZ host on the router.

    What else do I have to do in order to get this work ?

    Thanks a lot for any hint!

    Regards,
    Fabianus

    OK, here is the solution : I just had to get back to the Elastix bible "Elastix without tears" (http://www.elastixconnection.com/downlo ... _tears.pdf) and on page 117/118 you get the solution ...

    I had to fill the sip_nat.conf with this :
    nat=yes
    externip=<your fixed external IP> or
    externhost=< myasterisk.freedns.com>
    localnet=192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
    externrefresh=10

    Regards,
