    Hi Guys,

What do you usually do to update Elastix after an install?

    yum update?

    yum update dahdi dahdi-tools wanpipe

    yum update asterisk*

    ???

I have a bug in the system where kernel is Tainted by Wanpipe and Sangoma claims it's an issue of Elastix wanpipe .rpm and Elastix bug tracker tells me to update to the latest Dahdi/Wanpipe/Asterisk.

Can someone please give me exact commands and procedure to do this before I break this system?

    Thanks,
    Bruce

Did you try with the update feature of Elastix webgui? In Elastix 2.0, yum-shell is persistent that does not allow you to update anything at the command line so far.

    Not using 2.0.

Yum updates and GUI updates should be the same thing.

My question remains which packages should be updated so the system is not broken.

Is there any process to proper update? maybe the dev can weigh in please.
