What is the command to reset A2billing password
I'm not sure if there's a command but if you can't get into a2billing via the gui then you can change the password in mysql.
The default database is mya2billing. The default username/password is a2billinguser/a2billing
and the user/passwords are stored in a table called cc_ui_authen
So, I tried the following:
mysql -u a2billinguser -p
mysql> select cc_ui_authen;
ERROR 1054 (42S22): Unknown column 'cc_ui_authen' in 'field list'
And that turns out into an error. I am also stuck here. What do I do next to change values for password or how do I even pull up usernames and password in mysql? what is the command?
mysql> select * from cc_ui_authen ;
will work better. (you need to select the fields in this case all * from the table called cc_ui_authen in the current database (mya2billing))
start with http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/tutorial.html
it will tell you all you need within the first three chapters. (sometimes you gotta fish )
Here you go:
mysql mya2billing -u a2billinguser -p
mysql> use mya2billing;
mysql> select * from cc_ui_authen;
mysql> UPDATE cc_ui_authen SET password = "newpassword" WHERE login = "admin";
To verify the change in the database just do:
mysql> select * from cc_ui_authen WHERE login = "admin";
Now a2billing password is changed, also a2billing login root/myroot needs to be changed.
what else needs to be changed and how, to be safe?
I already changed
thanks a lot
