I use Elastix as PBX server and I don't need Vtiger CRM and Sugar CRM. They use system sources.
Please let me know how can I remove both programs from Elastix.

thanks

You need to remove the mysql databases vtigrcrm503 and sugarcrm and the folders /var/www/html/crm and /var/www/html/vtigercrm.
If you also want to delete the Elastix menu items, you need to edit 2 sqlite3 files in /var/www/db : menu.db and acl.db and remove all related items.

Anyway, you you will not increase performance at all, just free some space, as apache, php and mysql are needed for many more features, you can't disable them without losing most of Elastix functionality.

Yes, but more than resources, if you are not using the modules they pose a security risk. They expose additional internal information and if they aren't needed, should be removed.

I removed vtigercrm using yum three month ago. There were no negative effects on Elastix 2.2.0.

Why would anyone want to remove it? Did you replace it with something else? Seems Elastix is not supporting SugarCRM or Vtiger. Are they supporting any CRM?

rm /var/www/html/crm returns
rm: cannot remove `/var/www/html/crm': No such file or directory

But sugarcrm remains installed

Infact i only managed to remove vtiger using rpm -e elastix-vtigercrm

but this did not work for sugarcrm

I am facing the issue of having removed vtiger , via rpm -e method, that it displays the directory now with a folder in it named "Smarty". I checked for Indexes allowed in .htaccess and httpd.conf but didn't see anything.
how can I solve this?

I can't say for sure, as it is not installed on my system, however I would imagine that yum should be able to remove it. yum remove elastix-sugarcrm-addon

let me know if this works for you
