How to configre dial pattern,Outbound rules,trunk?

    Hi All,

    I need to call outside from the sip phone.I can call sip phone to sip phone now.
    TDM 24 port FXO card is showing acive,and i have connected a direct telephone line to one of the ports.

    I configred Outbound rules and trunks .But i am not sure about that..I am refering elastix without tears..But not getting the correct idea about the configuration,Any experianced hands can help me on this?..Please replyyy..

    First run

    dahdi_genconf

    Create a DAHDI Trunk with the port you have connected the cable to. It could be 1-24. The in the outbound routes put a code for making the out going call 9|X. and select the above created trunk and submit.

    You should be able to make calls through the analog line

    You will have to do it from the backend. Using an SSH Client

    Can i run it from linux Centos server,where the elastix is running.

    i cannot find out the command there.but zapconf is there..

    Ah ok, then run genzaptelconf

    I upgraded the Elastix version to 1.5.2
    now its workingg..
