    I am trying to change the default filename used to record the call. The relevant line in /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf is:

    exten => s,999,MixMonitor(${CALLFILENAME}.wav)

    However doing something like this:

    exten => s.6.Set(CALLFILENAME=${TIMESTAMP}-${EXEN}-${CALLERID})
    exten => s,999,MixMonitor(${CALLFILENAME}.wav)

    and

    exten => s,999,MixMonitor(${TIMESTAMP}-${EXEN}-${CALLERID}.wav)

    does not have the desired result. The first doesn't seem to have any effect while the second give the file a name of -s-.wav

    How do I change the default filename to something reasonable like time-exten-callerid?

    thanks

    I'm not sure that it works but you can try...

    Put modified context [macro-record-enable] into extensions_override_freepbx.conf
