Can anyone answer for me how many outbound calls are placed at any given time. Lets say you have 1 single agent logged in and ready to take calls, does the dial just dial out a single call and attempt to connect it to the agent or will it make mulitiple calls and connect the first to the agent then dump the rest?

I've checked the CLI but i cant see any of the outbound calls being placed by the dialer even when calls are being made.

    Thanks :)

Ok so i can a packet capture and i can see only 1 call being made on outbound.

I have the "over commit on outbound calls" button ticked, i was thinking this was force more outbound calls than agents and do as i thought above but it doesnt, does anyone know what that button actually does?

Yeah it is 1 for 1. More agents you have online the more calls it will make.
