    Hi,
    can you please post a diagram of your network and how to separate your extension server from your voip gw and e1.

    and one more important thing can you tell us how to setup E1 and define numbering and calling method in detail.

    Hi astone,

    And why is that you have karma -3 ??
    Maybe you have been spamming with adds in the past? I can't check it now.
    This makes me doubt you have installed that 1000 rooms hotel successfully.

    You also say you have installed it into a Dell server. Wrong! For such a big install you should have made a cluster, just in case your main server hangs up.

    Hi

    My RoomX project is running on today.

    It's not ended today, but it can have several functions.
    - CheckIn
    - CheckOut
    - Locking extension after Checkout
    - Room must be clean for CheckIn.
    - Mini-bar.
    - Call between rooms.
    - Billig Reports
    ..Etc
    If I've enough time, I can do a script to enable the Wifi account (For UCOPIA).

    I'm alone to do it, but the project go fine.

    Hi, John.

    Like I said, this project isn't ready today.
    I hope that should be ending soon. (It's just a time issue for me :unsure: )
    I must work on the billing part (CheckOut by group, sending the bill by mail, merging modules, cleaning code, make the help documents). So many work is still to do.

    At the beginning of the year, I started the project here : http://projects.elastixconnection.com.a ... cts/roomix

    You could going to this link if you want.

    Today, I work on SourceForge site.

    Like Ramoncio said, I've a doubt about the 1000 extensions!
    I think that's a joke. Without cluster, that will not be so easy. ;)

    Hi.

    I'm sorry for the delay. I'm alone and I must use my free time to do it, besides my job.
    And I renovate a portion of my house. :unsure:

    I know, it's long, but I work on this project when I can.

    Look at some screens capture HERE

    You could see that's not finished but almost. ;)

    Best regards ;)

    Hi ,ramoncio
    It is enough for DELL server to ruuning for 1000 extensions, key problem is you should know how to setup this system;If you want we invite you to visit our project;

    I tried the meetme function for 22 persons on PIII 800Mhz 256M computer with Asterisk 1.4, maybe you think this is more impossible;

    Hi mahpayma: i tried i cannt paste the digram here, please writedown your Mail address, i will send it to you, thanks

    Hi
    1000 extensions not 1000 concurrent calls,1000 extesions registed with Asterisk with 3600 second Expire, this will take very small resources of asterisk, for Hotel application the calls not so density, and we only use G711u codec for all device, so Asterisk no need convert codec;
    why DELL server cannt ruuning for 1000 extensions? our project working fine so far;

    just configure G711u for astrisk and all VoIP Gateways is ok;no need canreinvite=yes, if VoIP Gateways and Asterisk enabled all codecs, Asterisk will convert codec, this will take resource of asterisk;you know asterisk is B2BUA;

    canreinvite is also there to not use the server's bandwidth, even if it not taking lots of CPU ressource.
    canreivinte force the RTP direct between 2 extensions, like example:
    A to B instead of
    A to * to B

    Regards

    yes, but if you enabled canreinvite=yes, the features code how to work? like ##, *2...? maybe you will say lets use SIP INFO DTMF method, but if the IP package lost, how to do;
    If you want canreinvite=yes i think SER is better,its only SIP proxy can support more concurrent calls;
