I tidied up your post, are you actually trans-coding between any of these high cost in usecs codecs? all the usual voice culprits seem within reason apart from g729 and g723, do you have legitimate licenses to use these two, or are you using the ones some Latvians stole, if you are you will have to go there for support ;) ?

yes, i am using pri to g729 and its working perfectly(beside the fact that its showing high translations time ) i just don't understand why its showing such high translation,
when i used the old elastix with asterisk 1.4 it was showing 1-3 micro seconds, and if you look you can see that its not only the g723 and g729 its also with the codecs that are coming with elastix, and also its happening with 3 different machines
i am using for years the codecs form this page:
http://asterisk.hosting.lv/

and until asterisk 1.6.2.1 it always showed normal translation times,

Thank you
Alon

If you choose to use illegal software, don't you agree you should go there for support?

http://asterisk.hosting.lv/

I'm sure they will be more than happy to help you. I certainly won't it would be in contravention of the licensing agreement I accepted from Digium when I installed Asterisk.

The new report is in microseconds and not miliseconds as the previous versions.

finally a straight answer, and not some one that is trying to educate the world about ethics,
this is a place for technical issues and issues with elastix not a place to teach ethics.
we are using elastix because we are against all those companies that charge ridiculous amounts of money like cisco avaya and all other.
to charge $10 for G729 per Chanel is to steal money,

Again, they are not "free", they are "stolen intellectual property", you are merely a "fence" as you trade this contraband for gain, this is still considered illegal in most parts of the world including Belgium, to use these codecs is to steal money from the rightful licensor, Digium, and on these guys you and "every man jack" here rely for Asterisk, i.e. YOUR moneymaker. Digium relies on those licensing fees for it's further development, this income you and your cohorts IMHO blatantly steal, so until you and your Latvian friends care to offer an alternative to Asterisk, and further one without g729 encumbrances, i.e. write your own and just don't steal other peoples shit, you will have to accept the fact that you live in a dark place ethically, probably legally, and possibly with financial liability down-line.

I have no desire to educate the world about ethics, I just try to be ethical myself, you however by definition care not so much, you intrinsically accepted the licenses under which you are allowed to install Asterisk, you then promptly turn around and break them. That you value your system at less than 10 dollars a channel is to me indicative of your mindset, each one less than the cost of two coffees or a beer in Bruxelles, each one will be good for life, unlike the beer or coffee.

These fora are open, and as such, are not for you or anyone but PaloSanto to define what is acceptable, you can take any stance you care, as do I, helping the impolite and self-entitled is not part of my stance.

If you would compare asterisk 1.4 to version 1.6 the core show translations is in different measurements. 1.4 is milliseconds, and 1.6 is microseconds. If you don't know the difference, try google.

Earlier versions showed values in Milliseconds while newer versions shows value in Microseconds one Millisecond=1000 Microseconds, it could be as simple as this.
