I need information, i will install 24 lines with elastix using 24 ht486 connected to my router, but
i was thinking is there a better way to do this, is there a hardware that can in one box have 24 ports analog instead of purshasing 24 ht486

    thank you

Hi cop2000, wellcome to the forums!

Why do you want to stay analog? Are you from the past? :)

    - The best would be to get 24 ip phones.

    - You can also get a cheap channel bank and a T1/E1 PCI card to connect it to the Elastix box.
    - You can get a PCI card. Digium and Sangoma have them with lots of ports, though I've heard that Sangomas are better for high loads, 24 ports is no big deal, you can use both.
    - Or you can get an Astribank with up to 32 fxs:

If you plan to do clustering in a near future, it's better to stay off the PCI cards, use IP phones, astribanks or sip gateways with many fxs ports.
