I love Elastix but the Conference module does not have any documents explaining how to use it and work with it. From various places on the net I was able to get this working. Just follow the steps below.

1) Create the following file In root folder "/etc/asterisk/" the file name should be "cbmysql.conf"

Code:
[global]
hostname=localhost
dbname=meetme
password=eLaStIx.2oo7
user=root
port=3306
sock=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
DBOpts=yes
ConfApp=MeetMe
ConfAppCount=MeetMeCount
; Choose one of the following to modify early join behaviour
earlyalert=300 ; Tell the participant if they are too early (seconds)
;fuzzystart= ; Allow participants to join early (seconds)
2) Edit "/etc/asterisk/extensions_custom.conf" and add the following code:

Code:
[custom-meetme3]
exten => s,1,Answer
exten => s,n,Wait(3)
exten => s,n,CBMysql()
exten => s,n,Hangup
3) Perform and asterisk reload by logging into the asterisk CLI.

Code:
asterisk -r
sip reload
reload
4) Log into your Elastix control panel.
https://ELASTIXIP/

Click on the "Unembedded freePBX" link.
Click on "Tools" "Module Admin"
Click on "Check for Modules Online"
Make sure that "Misc Applications" "Misc Destinations" and "Custom Applications" Are Installed.

5) On the FreePBX Site click on "Tools" "Custom Destinations" Add a new destination with the following information.

Code:
Custom Destination: custom-meetme3,s,1
Destination Quick Pick: LEAVE ALONE
Description: MeetME
Notes: LEAVE ALONE
6) On the main FreePBX configuration page. Click on "Misc Applications" and add the following application

Code:
Description: MeetMe
Feature Code: ANYTHING YOU WANT?
Feature Status: Enabled

Destination: Custom Applications: MeetME

Submit Changes And Reload
7) Go to Conference on the main Elastix control panel and create a conference.

8) Call the Feature code number you crated and enter the conference number when created

9) Profit :D

Its working great for me.

So... Has this actually helped anyone? I see 19 view but no actual replies as to whether this worked for them or not.

Hello to you;

It's great that you put this tutorial up but it doesn't work for the reason that I can't even see Custom Applications in the modules list of the unembedded FreePBX. Also, while trying to simply use Onbound Routes and forward to "custom-meetme3,s,1" it exits on line 3 which has to do with with exten => s,n,CBMysql(). The file name mentioned by you to be created is "cbmysql.conf" with lower case. I tried upper case but still it doesn't work. ALSO HOW TO YOU ACCESS THE WEBMEET3 GUI? DOES IT NOT HAVE TO BE INSTALLED FOR YOUR TUTORIAL TO WORK? HOW DO YOU INSTALL THAT?

Thanks
