I'm having problems changing the gateway ip address to 192.168.0.1 from the original 192.168.1.1 I configured. I tried changing the gateway address in etc/sysconfig/network and etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 using WinSCP, but the box still doesn't recognize the updated gateway. I originally tried editing it through network parameters in Elastix, but because the field became blank and internet downloads weren't working I tried manually modifying the gateway. I am unable to change the IP address on the router which is the gateway. Is there another file that could be manually edited to correct this problem? Thanks for your help.

I think I found that the gateway needs to have the same prefix as the Elastix server. Once I changed the IP of the server from 192.168.1.222 to 192.168.0.222, the 192.168.0.1 gateway was correctly recognized.

And to get it to work with an IP of 192.168.1.222 and gateway of 192.168.0.1, the subnet mask needs to be changed to 255.255.0.0.
