My Setup:
Elastix 2.03
(1) Openvox A400P with 2FXO's and 1 FXS, using Elastix as a PBX for (2) PSTN lines.
(4) Polycom 331 Sip phones.

I have a slight feedback/echo in the handset. I tried fxotune and it results in an eror. Below are the commands that I issued.

# amportal stop

# fxotune -i 4

It tells me it is done tuning module 1, then begins to tune 2, after that it gives an error that is "unable to tune 1 devices even though those devices are present."

Maybe I just need to use dahdi_monitor? Is there a writeup on how to do this anywhere?

I am not sure that fxotune supports your hardware, it was written by Digium for Digium hardware or at least hardware that is Asterisk mainstream compliant, yours is unfortunately for you but not surprisingly, not so compliant.

good luck

I may have it resolved, ran fxotune -i 4 -e 1, and fxotune -i 4 -e 2, separately and got the OK!!. I am connected remotely to the Elastix box, but will try it in the morning to see if it's any better.
