Folk,

I need to allow anybody to call into our PBX using SIP, but the anonymous SIP callers need to be forwarded to an extension created for this purpose. How do I do this in elastix?

I see the option "Allow Anonymous Inbound SIP Calls?" set to Yes, which is good, but I need those calls forwarded to an extension of choice.

thanks,
eb

if you've created an inbound route for all your normal, non anonymous, route you just need to add an any/any inbound route. That will be the one taken by your anonymous sip call.

OK, I have done that, but I dont know how to test :)

What is the best way to test if I can make anonymous or unregistered SIP calls into my VoIP PBX? I tried to call from X-Lite while unregistered but it wont work..

Re:Forward

I had some issue with x-lite, specially while in the same LAN.

With zoiper you need to dial something like: sip:serverIPorFQDN:5060/extension
