    Hi,

I'm new to Elastix, I played around with Trixbox about a year ago, then used 3CX and now found Elastix to be the nicest of the lot.

I'm trying to work out how to force an extention to make outbound calls using a certain trunk. In 3CX you can set rules that say Trunk A will accept out bound calls from Ext XYZ, and Trunk B will accept outbound calls from ext DEF and so on.

Can this be done with Elastix, if so how?

    Thanks in advance.

Or the route permissions module from Rob Thomas if you want to do it a little simpler.

I use it here without any issues....

Have a look on google for Freepbx Route Permissions Module. It is a Third Party module, so you download it and install via the Freepbx module upload....

Search in the ELastix forums as well, you will find a similar thread as of less than 7 days ago...

    Regards
