FollowMe questions and Apply Configuration Changes

    Hi!!

    I have some questions about "Follow Me". When it is enabled for a certain extension inbound call recording won't work! Is there a fix for that? Moreover when follow me i.e. calls my mobile (out of office) is it possible as CID to have who called me on the ext that has follow me enabled?



    Something else I've noticed the past few days, when I click "Apply Configuration Changes Here" Asterisk cannot reload and I have to reboot the box in order to work.

    Ok, what about if you create a custom extension, on the dial string you should enter: Local/xxxx@from-internal (where xxxx represents your mobile phone, put it right there as if you were going to dial it out from any other extension).

    So on the follow me setting you will choose the custom extension

    Assume the following:
    * Your cellphone number is 123456789
    * Your extension is 503
    * You want to use follow me settings for your extension, you want to be called into your cellphone
    * You want to record the call that used the follow me setting

    Do the following:
    1. Go into PBX->Extensions->Add Extension
    2. Choose from the list: Other (custom) Device
    3. Set the normal parameters (display name, extension (any not used extension))
    4. On the dial box put: Local/123456789@from-internal
    5. On the bottom part, choose to record inbound/outbound calls
    6. Now go into the follow me settings: PBX->Follow me
    7. Choose your extension
    8. Under the options, choose the custom extension that you have created

    Is it possible on the follow-me list extensions to forward the caller's ID??
