    Hi all,

I want to deploy the next scenario.
Multiple users assigned to a group somehow inside elastix and then that group should be able to use just one sip trunk to a voip provider over internet.
The idea behind this is because the elastix should manage several sip trunks to different service providers with different price plans.
The customers in a group should be able to use just one sip trunk which is connected to one voip provider.

    Is this possible with elastix?
Do I need to execute several VMs or running just one instance is enough?

    Welcome asturluismi:

Look around these fora and other FreePBX places for "Custom-contexts", a third party add-on to FreePBX, a little confusing for some but largely effective to do what you want to do.

Well, I am new with Elastix as well with other open source pbx solutions.
So I would really appreciate if you give some clues about it.
Is it included by default in the elastix installation?
Do I need to add a new packaget?
Do I need to open the freepbx interface?
Do I need to jump to the CLI?

I would really appreciate how to reach that "custom.contexts" as well -I could put focus on that quickly-, how to configure them (this last part is a other thread I think)

All clues available here, The FreePBX forums, http://voip-info.org and google. :)

Do I need to open the freepbx interface? -Yes

Do I need to jump to the CLI?

Probably not but you will soon find that to be of great use down line.

Just try the search box at the top of this page

Ok, I will try to do a research on my own.
If I don't get any solution... I think I will see you in this thread again :D

    Many many thanks :)

Dicko I'm surprised that you did not mentioned Elastix Without Tears (available in the download section) that should have a chapter on Custom Context if I remember well. :silly:

    Patrick, :) :)

Damn, it's been a while since I did that ;) It's probably time I read it myself!
