    How do you modify asterisk to put the proper network/mask in the endpoint configurator endpoint scan box?

    Here is my system: Asterisk 1.4.36

    Eth0: 10.233.1.1/16
    Eth1: 172.19.1.1/16
    DHCP: 172.19.132.1-172.19.133.254

    Eth0 is my management interface which is on my data VLAN
    Eth1 is connected to my voice VLAN. Polycom phones are directed to the voice VLAN via CDP and get their DHCP from Asterisk.

    When you open endpoint configuration, the network address that is defaulted in the "endpoint scan" box is 10.233.1.0/16. I need the address to default to 172.19.132.0/23......how do I force Asterisk to do this? Anyone know?

    Thanks!

    it's defined in the function endpointConfiguratedShow()

    in the file:

    /var/www/html/modules/endpoint_configuration/index.php

    uncomment and edit the line to suit

    //$endpoint_mask = isset($_POST['endpoint_mask'])?$_POST['endpoint_mask']:"192.168.1.0/24";

    comment the next line.

    p.s. you are not forcing asterisk to do anything, this is all Elastix code, and has nothing to do with Asterisk, just nmap, and tftpd

    you also could try colsolgrp endpoint manager but probably need a complete upgrade of your old system.
