    Hi,

We are planning to port Elastrix to ARM9 running at 200MHz/250MHz for an
embedded appliance. The codecs would be running on separate DSP. We
understand that standard Elastrix distribution has the following components :
    1. Webserver
    2. HylaFAX
    3. PHP
    4. MySQL or PostgreSQL as Database
    5. Openfire

We would like to know the fwg.:

    1. Has Elastrix been ported on any embedded processor ? If so, which processors?
    2. Any performance figures available for ARM9 ?
    3. How much load each of above components would put on an ARM9 processor seperately and together ?
    4. Considerations, issues and experiences for such porting.
    5. Any help, info and references are appreciated.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Jerry John

    Rafael,

Thank you for the response and the information. We are focusing on ARM architecture. The codecs will be running on a dedicated DSP for performance improvement.

The link you mentioned has information about the Web server and Database. Do you have any information about their loading on processor and memory. The load the asserted by the PHP interpreter also would be helpful

    Thanks & Regards,

    Jerry
