    Hello,

I have installed Elastix some time back. Recently i was trying to configure dovecot along with postfix and further changes in the mail server. However it encountered various issues and i uninstalled dovecot and postfix. However postfix is the MTA which comes bundled with Elastix. I later installed postfix using yum.
Now, when i access the elastix admin page, it just shows up Apache test page. I feel that some elastix modules might have been removed while removing the MTAs. Please advice. Should i go with a fresh install with elastix now. Or is there alternative to recover. Thank you.

    Regards,
    Gokul

Without knowing what exactly was removed I would go with the clean install option, when you have it setup how you want it install mondo rescue and do a rescue image.
That way you can play around and if you crash it you can restore in about 10mins

    Hello,

Thank you for writing in. I have removed the elastix packages by removing it's assosciated rpms. Also i then manually removed the elastix files that came up with the installation. After that i proceeded with a fresh installation of elastix from the iso Elastix-1.5.2-stable-i386-bin-31mar2009.iso

I have followed the steps accordingly as mentioned in the installation in http://elastix.org. The installation was followed by reboot.
However when i access the elastix admin page, it still loads up Apache test page instead of the admin interface.
I have been installing elastix in my xen vps. Should i remove the vps, set it up new again and then proceed with elastix install. This will fix the issue. Or can i still repair the existing elastix installation.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Gokul
