I am a newbie to this community. I would like to use Elastix with a traditional PBX, Nortel MICS, to record incoming and outgoing calls. Currently the Nortel MICS has a traditional T1 incoming for our 800 number. And we have 4 Ooma lines hooked upto it as well that are configured as regular POTS lines. Would Elastix be a solution for us ?

Thanks for your time and consideration !!!!

    Thanks,
    Rick

You both will need first received the T1 throught Elastix, then forward the calls to the MICS using another T1 like a carrier service.

    Re: Re:Elastix with Nortel MICS

    Hi all
the idea is work with Asterisk as the FRONT of the Nortel,

Asterisk with T1 <----> Nortel <-----> Headsets or phones.

if this is you schema, can make it:

    http://www.google.hn/url?sa=t&source=we ... p%3A%2F%2F

    www.loligo.com%2Fasterisk%2Fmisc%2Fnort ... XlmZDaNr2Q

    http://www.saghul.net/blog/2007/11/12/t ... -asterisk/

    http://svnview.digium.com/svn/asterisk/ ... iew=markup

i will try to follow the instruction than share with you .

any result of my test i will respond again.

    Regards
