Im currently using Pbx in a flash which i like alot however ive just discoverd Elastix. I was wondering if i could get some input from some senior members and or the developers here to weigh in on what i would be gaining or losing by switching to Elastix and their comments on both products.

    Thanks in advance!

I have used all of them Trixbox, PIAF, AsteriskNow, FreePBX alone, and now Elastix. I use a VPS server with absolutely no telephony hardware. All have worked really well. Elastix is great if you want to save time installing things like Hylafax server, and other goodies, the Elastix REPO is very useful, but the security is a little weak. Elastix has dozens of default passwords for web interfaces, asterisk manager.conf, and mysql. These passwords are widely known, and must me changed. Other then that I highly recommend Elastix if you want to save time setting up all the goodies.
