Hi All,

Having problems getting DAHDI to work propelry with this card. I have an A500 with 2 active BRI ports. I have run the sangoma-setup and this is my config:

/etc/wanpipe/smg_bri.conf:

;Sangoma AFT-A500 port 1 [slot:0 bus:3 span:1]
group=2
country=europe
operator=etsi
connection_type=point_to_point
signalling=bri_te
spans=1

;Sangoma AFT-A500 port 2 [slot:0 bus:3 span:2]"
group=2
country=europe
operator=etsi
connection_type=point_to_point
signalling=bri_te
spans=2

I then run the wanpipe setup and only get as far as "Please Select Compilation Mode". I choose "7. SMG (BRI) + TDM Voice (Dahdi/Zaptel)
Default for: Asterisk BRI + PRI + Analog"

I then get asked for "Looking for zaptel/dahdi directory in /usr/src" and I enter default of "1 : /usr/src/dahdi-linux" and the error I keep getting is "No asterisk/callweaver dirs found in /usr/src Please use option "m" to enter asterisk/callweaver path"

Anyone out there that can advise what is going wrong here?

Thanks
Grant.

Thanks - tried that - now error is "Looking for zaptel/dahdi directory in /usr/src ...
-------------------------------------------
1 : /usr/src/dahdi-linux
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
m : Enter zaptel path manually"

When I point to dahdi-linux directory error is "#> /usr/src/dahdi-linux

Enabling the TDM Voice Asterisk Support

Dahdi HW HDLC Support Detected: Enabling DCHAN Feature
Native Dahdi HW HDLC Support Detected - No patch required
Dahdi source unmodified

Checking for UDEV Zaptel compatibility... Dahdi installed, no need to add UDEV rules

Checking for SCTP Utilities....OK.

why are you thying to compile wanpipe from source ?

Elastix rpm's do the trick with this card and all you have to do is run wancfg_smg to configure them.

Hope it helps !

Thanks for the tip - when running wancfg_smg i get through the setup - but when saving and restarting the services the script refers to zaptel devices rather than dahdi and errors with the following:

Error: Zaptel device failed to come up
Possible Cause: UDEV not installed!
