    I don't know why you did put 2 posts for the same problem, but if you had used the search engine you could see one post with the 7937G HERE from manzurek.

    Maybe you could asked your question at manzurek .. ;)
    At least for the 7937 :)

    Your phone is registered from in Asterisk?

    What's the result of: sccp show devices?

    It's good?

    Its not registered, output of sccp show devices

    sccp show devices

    NAME ADDRESS MAC Reg. State
    ======================================== ==================== ================ ==========

    Im thinking that the phone cant register if SEP.cnf.xml is wrong, what do you think?

    Right? I thing like you.

    Try know or read the state of the phone by a menu or other. So try to know the phoen status.
    By this way, maybe you could know what's file is worng or bad.

    No luck with that, with other phone models you could see what is loaded but not with this one :(

    Im monitoring log on Elastix machine, when phone start to boot up, first is dhcp request, fine, then SEP file, and then it start complaining about rp-sccp.jar, no error except that

    P.S. after boot up sequence, phone has ip address, but there is nothnig on the screen of the phone, blank, i can however enter the menu.

    Re: Re:Elastix Cisco 7937 7936 SCCP

    Hi manzurek.

    Thanks for helping Dikic. ;)

    Just one think. Why modify /etc/cyrus.conf? What's relation with sccp?
    Maybe it's only for Elastix 1.6, because on Elastix 2.0, the sccp channel works fine.

    Can you give us the file example (SEP.....cnf.xml or .XML) about your 7937, please?
    Just to see these parameters by curiosity...

    Regards.

    Re: Re:Elastix Cisco 7937 7936 SCCP

    Hi danardf, what happens is that cyrus-sieve uses the port tcp 2000 just as skinny, you can verify with a telnet to port 2000 of elastix 1.6

    all the configuration is realised in the file sccp.conf, are not used archives like SEP<mac-address>.cnf.xml

    config 7937

    [7937](!,defaultdevice) ; add to default device template and create new template named 7937
    devicetype = 7937 ; device type (see below)
    cfwdall = on ; activate the callforward stuff and softkeys
    imageversion = apps37sccp.1-4-2-0

    [SEP0004F9E60EDD](7937)
    description = Sala de Conferencia ; Give a description to the Phone (Displayed in the Right Top Corner on the phone)
    button = line, 500

    [500](defaultline) ; define line 500 using template defaultline
    id = 500 ; future use
    pin = 12345 ; future use
    label = 500 ; button line label (7960, 7970, 7940, 7920)
    description = Line 500 ; top diplay description
    mailbox = 500 ; voicemail.conf (syntax: vmbox[@context][:folder])
    cid_name = 500 ; caller id name
    cid_num = 500 ; caller id number
    accountcode=79011 ; accountcode to ease billing
    callgroup=1 ; We are in caller groups 1,3,4. Valid for this line
    pickupgroup=1

    greetings

    Re: Re:Elastix Cisco 7937 7936 SCCP

    Ha yes, now I remember a conflict between cyrus and the sccp port.
    Of course.

    This problem seems not there in Elastix 2.0.

    Regards manzurek. ;)

    Hi manzurek! First thanks fory your help!

    I have couple more questions,

    1.The configuration you posted, i should all put it inside sccp.conf ?

    2.So i dont need SEP<mac-address>.cnf.xml?

    3.What about XMLDefault.cnf.xml ?

    4.This line:
    imageversion = apps37sccp.1-4-2-0
    Firmware version?

    Thanks for you effort once more!
