    Hi,

I am new to Linux, Elastix softswitch but have been in the Voice Telecom for 15+ years. I'm interesting in starting my own business using Elastix as my VoIP Service Provider, Calling Card, etc, all the features and add-on mudules.

Can the expert here tell me can it be done? When I start my deployment I will need to hire an expert to help me do configurations.

Thanks very much, I enjoy testing Elastix.

If you're talking about doing some level of volume, I think you might want to look at something like OpenSER or FreeSwitch.

Asterisk isn't really intended to work as a high-volume/ultra-flexible softswitch. Being in the industry, you're surely familiar with conventional softswitchs, and understand the differences. With that in mind, you might want to look into OpenSER or Freeswitch.

Of course, I'm just a newbie on the Asterisk side myself; however, I did work at a VoIP telcom provider a few years back and have a very intimate understanding of softswitches.
