I'm guessing people are going to want to know exactly what you editted. You may also want to start a new thread.

Dear All,

I am using Elastix 2.2.0 RC2. I am trying to use A2Billing 1.8.1 that is integrated with Elastix 2.2.0 RC2. I have logged in to a2billing from "Extras > Calling Cards". After creating call plan, rates etc, I have generated 10 customers. Then I have tried to "reload asterisk" from voip settings but it shows the following message :
"Cannot connect to the asterisk manager!
Please check your manager configuration."

Please help me out!

Here is some portion of /etc/a2billing.conf file
[database]
hostname = localhost
; port for postgres is 5432 by default
port =
user = a2billinguser
password = a2billing
dbname = mya2billing
; dbtype setting can either be mysql or postgres
dbtype = mysql

[global]
; MANAGER CONNECTION PARAMETERS
port= 5038
manager_host = localhost
manager_username = a2billinguser
manager_secret = a2billing

This is some part of /etc/asterisk/manager.conf
[general]
enabled = yes
port = 5038
bindaddr = 0.0.0.0
displayconnects=no ;only effects 1.6+

[admin]
secret = elastix456

permit=127.0.0.1/255.255.255.0

write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user,config,command,dtmf,reporting,cdr,dialplan,originate

#include manager_additional.conf
#include manager_custom.conf

And finally this is some part of /etc/asterisk/manager_custom.conf

[phpconfig]

permit=127.0.0.1/255.255.255.0

Re: Re:Elastix 2.2

is99,

No not possible at the moment from what I can tell.

Just tried an update on 2.0.0 machine, and it is only downloading the 2.X libraries.

As always, you need to wait a few weeks for the yum updates to become available. It takes a little more time to test these, and make any corrections needed for upgrading.

Elastix guys has also been involved in few conferences as well in the last few weeks. Not to say that everything stops, but needs a little more time.

I have just completed two Elastix manual upgrades e.g. manually applying configs after fresh 2.2 install using a new hard drive, so as to provide rollback...both of these upgrades were completely remote.

One of them was setup of local VM copy of 2.2, (two screens) copy/pasting all details from one screen to the next. Backup using Freepbx backup and restoring on freshly installed 2.2...

Reason for taking this direction, was that for reasons known (hard drive issues), we preferred not to perform a yum update, preferring to utilise new hard drive and naturally fresh install...

Regards

Bob
