Hello, just whant to see if you runing yum update after each fresh 1.3 install? What do you think is it safer to keep 1.3 stable without yum on a new system or run yum each time a new system installed and monthly? I installed 1.3 today and just whanted to see if there is any updates and after yum update I can see almost 300 paakages for update, I don't whant to brake anything, just whant to know what system is stable.

Hi igorek600,

If you just installed go ahead un updated, it is the best thing you can do it. At the moment the latest stable version of Elastix is 1.3 and running yum update would only update packets from CentOS. When Elastix 1.5 is release there might be a bit of risk, but normaly you could upgrade without issues.

So for now be calm and when Elastix 1.5 is release you coulb be avialable to update with almost any risk. There is being a lot of testing with people at the beta testers team.

If you want to keep updated about Elastix you can allways follow us in twitter:

Regards,

Rafael
