Elastix 1.6 just freezes druing bootup and the last process is APF.

DELL POWER EDGE 2600 has 3 SCSI + extra SATA 500GB

First it takes a while to NFS STATD to go through and CEntos stuks on APF. The last process:

STARTING mDNSRESPONDER OK
STARTING APF: ip_tables ..........
Netfiller v 0.3
ip_contract (ver 2.4 8192 buckets, 65536) 288 bytes per bucket and freez forever

recently added SATA as LVM extra space but had rebooted 3 times and worked .... just 4th time was not lucky....

Any advice highly appreciate.

Thank You

If you care to install a third-party firewall and it doesn't start and blocks your system, perhaps you should be posting this in that firewall's forum, don't you agree ?

If you setup an NFS export you need to know how it works, and particularly how it will interact with your firewall.

Sorry but these are just not Elastix related problems, good luck.

p.s.

Please don't rely on luck, it just isn't effective in the long run, I recommend understanding as a replacement.

finally I could boot up in INTERACTIVE MODE, disabled APF and iptables BUT

can't get http working, aslo can't get using putty,

when I restart HTTP I have:

WARNING TIMER ISR/0 TIME WENT BACKWARDS ........... delta_cpu=lot's of numbers
cpu_processed=lot's of numbers
0: lot's of numbers
1: lot's of numbers

any advice or I should start resintaling Elastix ... ?

Don't boot the xen kernel unless you need it, (it breaks many hardware's, and more than a few low level software's, dev's are you listening ?)

don't install anything unless you know what you are doing,

Try and restore within you're skill set,

but probably in your case, "Start Over" :)
