    Hi,

    I have been using the new OpenR2 in Venezuela with three different telcos and it work great!! Much better than Unicall in terms of stability and loss of calls.

    I have been trying to update 2 Elastix 1.3 via yum to get DAHDI and OpenR2 support. I manage to get it work on one system while not on the other.

    I decided to install a clean 1.5.2 Ela distro and all went well. I have been able to get OpenR2 to work very stable.

    The problem arrived when I updated the system via yum update all and later, on a new installation, with selective packages (asterisk, asterisk-addons, dahdi, wanpipe, spandsp, libopenr2, to mention some). Updating Asterisk-1.4.24.1-1 to asterisk-1.4.24-1-1, asterisk-1.4.24-1-2 or asterisk-1.4.24-1-3 breaks OpenR2 support. If you ldd to /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/chan_dahdi.so on any of these versions, you will see it is linked against libopenr2 but no mfcr2 command nor signalling=mfcr2 are available in Asterisk.

    I have confirmed that by downgrading (ignoring all deps) to 1.4.24.1 makes R2 work again.

    After updating from 1.4.24.1, if you take a look at /var/log/asterisk/full you will find that signalling=mfcr2 is invalid.

    Code:
    [May 12 09:46:50] VERBOSE[14177] logger.c:   == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf': [May 12 09:46:50] VERBOSE[14177] logger.c: Fo
    und
    [May 12 09:46:50] ERROR[14177] chan_dahdi.c: Unknown signalling method 'mfcr2'
    [May 12 09:46:50] ERROR[14177] chan_dahdi.c: Signalling must be specified before any channels are.

    Also the mfcr2 commands inside the cli are gone.

    Any help on this will be greatly appreciated as I have been fighting to get openr2 back working after update without much success.

    Also the system is unstable as all my AGI with Perl Asterisk::AGI module that were workig ok stopped working.

    kind regards.

    asterisk-1.4.24.1-4 is now available for download, and should fix the issue.
