How do I update to 1.4-4 from 1.4-1? I had 1.4-4 before a reinstall but now when I update the repositories from System/Update and then run "yum update", it does not update to 1.4-4.

    Thanks!

Did you try yum --enablerepo=elastix-beta update. That should enable the beta repository and let you get the latest version. I haven't tried it yet with the latest update so maybe, maybe not work. You can always press n to cancel.

Without using the Unembedded FreePBX how do you set up "Time Groups" (Time Conditions relies on them now)and "ZAP Channel DIDs"

    Cheers

using the 1.4rc distrib, a yum update + freepbx modules update brake the freepbx 'recordings' tabs:

Connexion impossible to Asterisk Manager ()
Check the ARI 'main.conf.php' configuration file to set the Asterisk Manager Account.
Check /etc/asterisk/manager.conf for a proper Asterisk Manager Account
make sure [general] enabled = yes and a 'permit=' line for localhost or the webserver.

    FreePBX 2.5

I had an unsuccessful run with the 1.4rc version and Sangoma A200 card. Impossible to configure this fine little monster!
Hardware detection module does nothing (it was working fine before).
It shows 4 processors with Intel Atom330 (actually it's 2 cores and 4 threads), rtl8111 gigabit again not supported but this is easy to bypass.
Updates are working and the interface is somewhat faster than before.
Everything else seems to be working just as good but with no analog card ...NO-GO!

    1. Can add print server to elastix?
    2. In the network-dhcp menu, can choose the interface for the dhcp server?
    Thank you!

    jackyzrk,
Welcome to the Elastix community. This questions should be ask in the newbie forum. Anyway, I would answer you this time here
    1) You can not add the print server by default on the elastix web interfase. How ever you can install cups with yum. You may even add the cups web interfase to the elastix admin interfase. Please check this tips from ramoncio.
    2) At the moment you can not edit the web interfase for the dhcp server in elastix. You can do it low level.
Please, if you need more info about this issues, posted in the newbies forums.

    Regards,

    rafael

Well, after update many of previously enabled modules was disabled, but after full update of FreePBX everything was fine ( except the server refuse to boot after reboot :) )

    p.s. I don't have zaptel cards.

Installing 1.4 RC for me was a tremendous task. First off everything that could go wrong, did go wrong when attempting to update an older system with this code. Luckily it was a test system, but I've found database issues galore and voicemail no longer wrote the wav file for messages. The interesting this about this is that even though we have an RC ISO build, this needs to work with existing systems in place, so I hope this is resolved prior to 1.4 being released.

I also wanted to mention that this has nothing to do with the FreePBX issues people are seeing but instead it is looking for a table called asterisk.languages when there isn't one in MySQL. Interestingly though, only some of the Embedded FreePBX suffers from these issues. The Unembedded version does not though.

I installed on a new hard drive on hardware that runs 1.3 fine. All seemed to go fine with the install. I upgraded fbx as above. When I went to get my Sangoma a200 working it has errors. Hardware detection does not see it. setup-sangoma also has errors. I can attach more logs if you ask. http://forum.elastix.org/old_files/messagges_excerpt.txt

The link for the beta on the elastix download page is still linking to the first 1.4RC from November.
Shouldn't it be updated to the latest beta?

Always look what's on SourceForge ;-)
    There is "Elastix-1.5-beta1-30ene2009.iso" (!) where is 1.4 stable? (!)

I really hope and wish that the problems with Sangoma Cards are gone. Downloading now...

EDIT: No deal for Sangoma, too bad :S
No news for Openfire, Sugar, Tiger
Just FreePBX 2.5 looking good, tests are on the way...
